A talk about how I set up a local CoderDojo club in my small market town; how I gathered together a group of like-minded people to become mentors; how I persuaded the 7-16 year olds of the town to give coding a whirl; how we won over the pensioners' gardening club, who thought children should be seen and not heard; and how over 5 years the kids became mentors and the mentors became lasting friends.
