FluffyChat - Creating a [matrix] messenger for individuals
From user discovery and end to end encryption to push notifications: how the requirements for a matrix messenger differs if the target audiance are individuals instead of businesses.
Since 2017 I'm developing FluffyChat, first for Ubuntu Touch and since 2020 also for Android, iOS, Web and Linux. Always with one goal in mind: Target individuals instead of businesses and therefore as a non profit project. In this talk I would like to outline how I have different user groups in mind when designing new features, how to make user discovery or end to end encryption easy to use but also powerful.
