20.05.2010: SIGINT10 Videos online (2/3)

We managed to release a large part of the SIGINT10 videos and audio files. The missing videos will be released soon, due to several issues we can’t settle on a specific date.
Update: Flash-streamable versions of the released files are available on media.ccc.de now.

21.04.2010: EH2010 Recordings online

The Videos from the Easterhegg 2010 in Munich are now online for watching.

Maybe there’ll be some more in the next days.

22.1.2010: 26C3 Recordings: 87

You can now browse and download 87 video recordings from the 26th Chaos Communication Congress.

We are currently looking into html5 video players for the h264 files, but since few browsers (chrome / safari) support this, it might not be worth the trouble. We might have to convert everything as ogg/theora so we can use html5 video with firefox and opera, but this might take a while.

2.1.2010: 26C3 Recordings

The 26th Chaos Communication Congress is over and the first 67 videos are available via streaming. More recordings from ftp.ccc.de will be added soon.

Once FEM finishes the encodings we’ll try to make the pseudo streaming work.

12.09.2009: SIGINT09 Videos

Videos from SIGINT09 are now available. Audio recordings are downloadable from the file server.

6.5.2009: Downtime

Because of an untipical outburst of warm spring weather, our AC decided to die, which caused the server to have some spontaneous downtime. Now we have found a nice, freezing place for it and media.ccc.de is back again – now with IPv6! We are sorry for the endless days of agony the downtime may have caused you.

27.12.2008: 25C3 Live-Streams

The 25th Chaos Communication Congress in Berlin has already started. The links to Live-streams of the lectures can be found in the congress wiki. We will provide the videos here as soon as possible.

14.09.2008: mrmcd111b Videos

Videos from mrmcd111b are now available. Expect more h264 recodes in the following days. This will however break pseudo flash streaming, since adobe doesn’t allow it without the purchase and use of their propretary Flash Media Server.

11.07.2008: Improved Design

We made a few changes concerning the look and feel of the CCC-TV Website. Some optical details changed (Web 2.0 Round Edges™) and the Tags page has been rewritten.

11.6.2008: New Server

Finally we got a new server. It is based on four Xeon cores with 4 GB memory and about one TB of disk space to host and encode the media contents.

16.2.2008: Panoptikum

The site’s basic functionality is running, but a few features need to be implemented. And we are waiting for faster hardware.

In a few days we will publish the short movies of the contest “Das panoptische Prinzip”.
